Garden of the Convent
The Foyer of the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Wonders was built in 1951 by the mayor at the time, Don Cristóbal Sánchez Amoraga, 58 years after Don José Soria. The designer, Ana Merino, architect of the new design had a very difficult task in transforming this garden without it losing its essence, but the imagination and ingenuity of the artist triumphed. January 11, 2009 will be remembered by all as the day the Convent Garden was opened again, now converted into numerous open spaces with pergolas with much more light, creating shade and rest areas.
