Gambela

Gambela is an important Ethiopian city near the border of Sudan, which is an important influence on the city. Hundred of refugees from Sudan live in this extremely poor village. Most of the streets are not made of asphalt and there is not even a single important building. It looks dirt poor and quite large, but perhaps because of this, it also has a charm that can not be explained. Most of the houses are very humble shacks or basically just roofs over their heads that serve to shelter from heavy rains that fall at certain times of the year. There are two streets that are full of small stalls selling all sorts of products by people that are just looking to earn money however possible.
