A Galeria Emma Thomas fica bem no bairro Jardins, local bastante famoso de São Paulo, conhecido pelos seus estabelecimentos sofisticados. Fica também próximo a Avenida Paulista, onde tudo acontece! Essa não é uma galeria comum. É meio que uma mistura de galeria e centro cultural. Não tem aquele aspecto mais formal de uma galeria de arte privada, mas também não é somente um espaço cultural, lá os negócios também ocorrem. O bacana dessa galeria é exatamente isso. Um local bastante alternativo. A proposta é essa. Apresentar artistas jovens brasileiros, que articulam a arte contemporânea. O local tem diversos ambientes. Na parte de baixo ficam as exibições temporárias. Na parte de cima o acervo, e também fica uma parte onde eles fazem exibições mais especificas, menos formais, sobre o processo criativo do artista. Esse espaço se chama "Arte em Processo". Na parte superior da galeria fica um espaço aberto onde eles utilizam na maioria das vezes para diversos eventos, ou da galeria ou até de instituições de fora. Algumas vezes eles utilizam o espaço como um local para exibições, dependendo do que o artista for propor. Vale muito a pena a visita. Achei a arquitetura do local fantástica também!
