Pau is a city that I will never stop being amazed by

Pau is a city that I will never stop being amazed by. After having been amazed by the beautiful cathedral and the wonderful parks, we suddenly found ourselves with something I never expected ... A funicular! There is a part of the city, the oldest part to be exact, which is quite a lot higher from the rest, so in order to get there I thought there were only two options: either walk or drive, but I was totally wrong. When the lower city began to expand, the funicular was built there, as was the bus station, to prevent people from having to walk up to the top. It is a very small funicular that makes the trip from the bus station to the highest part of town, where the town hall is located.

Each one can only fit twenty people but this is not a problem because it is a very short ride and does not take long to go up and down again. The ride is completely FREE to register and also allow you to take your dog with you. In my opinion, it is a fantastic idea that I think should be adopted by certain Spanish cities in which the slopes are just pure torture.
