Very good
Certainly to be repeated. A magnificent 3-star hotel opposite Guimarães train station and within walking distance of the Palace and Centro Cultural Vila Flor. From here you can stroll to the historic city center in 10-15 minutes, following Afonso Henriques. It's a multi-storey building with 72 rooms equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, wireless internet (fee), minibar and safe. Our room was very spacious, carpeted, with two beds, two tables, desk, wardrobe and luggage racks, the decor was simple and the room was very comfortable. The bathroom was pretty good, curiously it wasn't tiled but the walls were lined with striking blue anti-moisture panels.
There was a hairdryer, large bathtub, other amenities and the cleanliness was immaculate. The reception was huge - filled with sofas and a small wifi space. The huge breakfast room was on the top floor, with large windows from which you can see the entire city. It was a buffet breakfast nothing great, but the usual: bread for toast, pastries, cereal, scrambled eggs and bacon. In July it was 45 € with breakfast. The hotel was very good, so I recommend it.
