Close Call in Malaysia
In Malaysia, people drive on the left, and I had forgotten that when I crossed the border. In shock, I saw a bike that had to brake to avoid me, and the car behind it, which was too close, crashed into the bike, throwing the mother and her baby onto the car, and the father to one side (everyone was in the motorcycle). Fortunately, nobody was hurt, but the bike was badly damaged. We waited for the police, trying to reassure ourselves that in other countries, the pedestrian is always right, but that didn't stop me from imagining ending my life in a Malaysian prison, or having to work to pay damages to all these people.
