From the train station to the city centre
The first impression of Karlovy Vary is the train station, quite old and in urgent need of a make-over, but has its charms. We walked down a road that leads to the city entrance and crossing the river and saw the stately buildings from the late 19th century, we walked parallel to the river to get to the point where all roads converge in Karlovy. From here there are various routes that lead by the springs, the palaces, or the centre of town. We'll go seeing them.
