François De Mahy Statue

Voici une des trois sculptures que l'on peut voir dans le jardin de l'hôtel de ville de saint Pierre. Cette sculpture est celle de François De Mahy. Elle possède déjà la particularité d'être entouré, à ses pieds, de marches qui mènent au socle. La statue n'est pas à hauteur d'homme alors vous la verrez en contre plongée ! Cette statue est un hommage à cet homme, créole, qui fut un grand politicien. La sculpture a trouvé sa place en 1939, ici, pour le 104ème année de naissance de ce saint pierrois.
