Fountain of the Rabbit

Denominada como la primera entrada a la ciudad amurallada, la fuente del conejo debe su nombre a que ese lugar era propiedad de una familia con el apellido Conill (conejo). Está colocada sobre un pedestal de piedra que tiene solo abrevadero para animales. De la fecha de su construcción al igual que la [poi=571551] Fuente del Ángel [/poi]no se registran datos pero sí que fue restaurada, según consta en la escultura, en 1752 fecha en que se colocó el abrevadero. Tanto esta fuente como la otra son los monumentos urbanos más antiguos de la ciudad, de dimensiones modestas pero barroco barcelonés. Dubbed as the first entry to the walled city, the source of the rabbit is named after that place was owned by a family with the surname Conill (rabbit).
