Fort Worth Zoological Park

The Fort Worth Zoological Association features more than 5,000 specimens of 500 species. IN addition the zoo has a large collection of reptiles and amphibians and bred endangered species such as the Wetland Tortoise. The aquarium was opened in 1954 as an extension of the zoo, which closed in 2002, and a new reptile house was scheduled for the site.
