Fort Manoel

L'île Manoel n'en est pas vraiment une puisqu'un pont routier y donne accès. Le Fort Manoel, fermé au public, se voit essentiellement depuis La Valette ou la pointe de Sliema. Copié sur le modèle en étoile cher à Vauban, ce fort est un bel exemple d'architecture militaire défensive du 18ème siècle. Il ouvre sur la mer par une porte monumentale.
