Empty beaches
In Folegandros you can enjoy some great beaches, which, though probably not the size compared to some of surrounding islands. The beaches here are not renowned for its sand, mostly because the vast majority are of stones, but by the clean waters that make them practically in natural pools. Many of them are relatively isolated, some accessible only by dirt. Others only walking and other directly, only by boat. This makes virtually none are overcrowded and can rest in them a great time. Among my favorites: Aggali, the most accessible of all, directly by road from the town of Folegandros. It has several bars around, but the surf is perhaps too strong.
Agios Georgios. From incredibly clear waters, this small stone creek is about 50 minutes drive from Folegandros, being the final leg of a really steep dirt track. Livadaki. For me the number 1. Only you can reach, or boat, or walk an hour in the countryside of Folegandros. Now all these obstacles makes sure that is one of the quietest beaches of the island.
