Craft beer and artisan cheese!
The Fogg Bar is the latest addition to Madrid’s ever-growing craft beer scene located on Calle Moratin in Madrid’s historic Las Letras neighborhood. While Fogg Bar’s original establishment in the Pacifico neighborhood specialized in beers and butifarras (a tasty Catalan White sausage), the Las Letras outlet specializes in Spanish craft beers and artisan cheeses, a combo that’s hard to beat if you’re looking for a light lunch or mid-afternoon snack.
Fogg Bar has a total of 10 taps featuring brews from leading Spanish craft breweries like Cibeles (Madrid), Sagra (Toledo), Monkey (Toledo), and Dougalls (Cantabria), as well as a vast selection of bottled Spanish brews in the fridge. The draft selection changes regularly and when I went I got a frosty pint of Cibeles IPA, one of my all-time favorite Spanish craft beers.
