Fisk University Galleries

The Fisk University Galleries in Nashville were established after the Civil War and two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Fisk University was established in Nashville. Here, Fisk convened its first classes in first year students had 1866. The people were aged from seven to seventy and they shared slavery and poverty.
