Conil Marina

Conil Marina is a small port near the foot of the Lighthouse of Cape Roche. Given how vast the stretch of sand and the sea inlet are in Conil, it was simply unfeasible to construct a safe fishing harbor facing the village, this is the why it was decided that the port of Conil should be built due to its strategic location, which is much more sheltered from onrushing waves and the strong easterly winds that often blow through the area. It is a small port with a fairly narrow entrance and two breakwaters on either side, facing towards Cape Roche. The jetty is quite long and protected by large stone blocks since this side of the harbor is the most open to the Atlantic Ocean.
