As Monterey one of the coolest cities on the Californian coast, it's no surprise that Fisherman's Wharf is a great spot to go for walk in the sun. The site has its own parking, part paid and part free. There are several shops and plenty of restaurants, although you'll find some better closer to the aquarium. And here you can catch a whale-watching boat trip. And you can see Georges Birds, a man with many tropical birds for you to take a picture with (I'm not sure if this is legal or not...).

Dans le port de Monterey, possibilité de voir des otaries "échouées" sur la jetée au bout de Municipal Wharf, ou bien même au bord du quai. Il suffit d'écouter les rugissements pour les trouver ! Elles côtoient les plongeurs, très nombreux près de la plage de Reeside Access, les kayakistes et les pêcheurs installés sur la jetée. C'est un quartier très agréable par une journée ensoleillée, on y trouve par ailleurs de nombreuses boutiques de souvenirs et des restaurants de luxe. Bonne balade dans la baie de Monterey !

In the port of Monterey, can see sea lions "failed" on the pier at the end of Municipal Wharf, or even at the quayside. Just listen to the roars to find! They rub divers, many near the beach Reeside Access, kayakers and fishermen settled on the pier. This is a very nice neighborhood on a sunny day, there are also many souvenir shops and luxury restaurants. Good ride in the Monterey Bay!
