Eat well and for cheap
You can't go to Britain and not try "fish and chips". This is a traditional fast food place and, of course, could not be less quintessentially Liverpool. In every city, there are tones of places where you can have fish and chips, and they're usually good. The fish is usually great and the chips are usually drizzled with salt and vinegar, a wonderful combo (once you overcome the shock that unexpected vinegar has on the palate). We stopped at a restaurant run by a Turkish guys who also sold kebabs. You can eat well and for cheap, so it is highly recommendable.
