Solo hay que ponerse en la situación: las tenuas y cambiantes luces del atardecer, las casas de impoluta arquitectura blanca, las iglesias con sus campanarios tradicionales, la suave brisa del Mar Egeo acariciando la piel, los cruceros destelleando a su lento paso por la isla y el sonido de una guitarra de fondo de los músicos que tocan libremente en el paseo. A quiet walk in Firostefani, one of the villages hanging from the majestic Santorini caldera. Santorin, l'île volcanique aux paysages fabuleux, aux églises blanches avec dôme bleu, qui dominent la caldeira envahie par la mer. Les points de vue ne manquent pas. Mais, à l'ouest de Fira, le village de Firostefani, le plus haut de la falaise, séduit. Pas de boutiques à Firostefani, c'est plutôt une zone résidentielle avec l'église haut perchée. Son dôme est lisse sans pierres d'appui pour le repeindre, et ce qui le caractérise est la petite étoile blanche au pied de la croix. De Firostefani, on domine le volcan au plus près depuis la falaise, on domine les bateaux de croisière qui apparaissent comme en un fjord.

Firóstefani fica apenas pouco mais de 500 metros acima de Firá, capital de Santorini. As vistas são semelhantes às de Firá mas um pouco mais altas. Foi nesta zona que decidi ficar, foi uma boa decisão, superior só mesmo Oía mas os preços são também mais altos. De Firóstefani destaco as vistas sobre o vulcão e um bar chamado Milos. Milos significa moinho em grego e o bar encontra-se no interior de um moinho com vistas fabulosas.

Firostefani is just over 500 feet above Fira, Santorini's capital. The views are similar to Fira but a little higher. Tan bonito como la capital de Santorini (Fira), pero mucho más tranquilo. No deja de ser un pequeño pueblo. De casas blancas, es una autentica maravilla pasear por sus calles bordeando la caldera. Hay una senda que lo une con Fira.

As nice as the capital of Santorini (Fira), but much quieter. No longer a small town. White houses, is an authentic beauty walking through the streets bordering the boiler. There is a path that connects it to Fira.

Caminhar pelas vielas de Firóstefani é uma experiência deliciosa e repleta de belas imagens. Difícil é uma fotografia ficar ruim. Tudo é muito fotogênico. Na foto, uma das várias igrejas com domo azul.
