Figueira Square

The Praça da Figueira part of Baixa Pompalina, is in a large square with a statue of John I. The buildings surrounding the square are hotels, shops and cafes. Earlier in the same place where the plaza was stood All Saints Hospital which was destroyed in the 1755 earthquake. The photo was taken from the Castillo de San Jorge.

A Praça da Figueira fica "paredes meias" com o Rossio no centro de Lisboa em plena Baixa Pombalina. Num plano superior vê-se o Castelo de São Jorge. Uma estátua equestre de Dom José I pontifica na praça. Diversas atividades ocorrem nesta praça em determinados fins de semana.
The Praça da Figueira is "dividing walls" with the Rossio in Lisbon city center in full Pombaline. On a higher plane sees the Castelo de São Jorge. An equestrian statue of Dom Jose I pontificates on the square. Several activities occur in this square on certain weekends.

Esta plaza tiene mucha historia a sus...

Esta plaza tiene mucha historia a sus espaldas. En enero de 2019 estuvimos en Lisboa y en esta plaza había unos puestos artesanos tanto de comida como de souvenirs y todo de 10. Recomiendo totalmente darse un paseito por allí.
This square has a lot of history behind it. In January 2019 we were in Lisbon and in this square there were craft stalls selling food and souvenirs and everything from 10. I totally recommend taking a walk around there.
