Felanitx

Felanitx es un municipio de la comunidad autónoma de Islas Baleares, España. Situado al sudeste de la isla de Mallorca y en la comarca del Migjorn. Colinda con Santañí, Campos, Porreras, Villafranca de Bonany y Manacor. El nombre de Felanitx, proviente del latín, significa "lugar donde se produce mucho hinojo". Los puntos más altos del municipio son: - San Salvador (509 metros). En este monte hay un monasterio del mismo nombre. - Sa Comuna (429 metros). - Castillo de Santueri (408 metros). En la cima de este monte hay un castillo de montaña, utilizado antes de la conquista de la isla por parte de Jaime I de Aragón.

On top of this mountain is a mountain castle, used before the conquest of the island by Jaime I of Aragon.
