Food Festival
In a large tent near the banks of the river Lima in Expolima, on the 5th,6th and 7th of this month the gastronomic event took place. It is around the theme of pork and Sarrabulho delicacies, typical food from northern Portugal and especially in this area, a kind of stew made with pork and different spices which give that typical flavor. One specialty is rice with Sarrabulho and the truth is that there were so many people that it was impossible to eat inside the tent. We could not miss the dessert, the typical "Leite Creme" a kind of caramelised custard with toasted sugar. There are also about 30 stalls available for everything with crafts, furs, shoes, fashion, deli, wine, etc.
