Turkish coffee ... essential
After some good Turkish culinary delights it's best to wash it down with a good digestive like Turkish coffee. Turkish coffee is a malt coffee with very mild spices that, unlike regular coffee, helps regulate digestion. It's prepared in a casserole and taken unfiltered accompanied by a piece of lokum (Turkish gelatin candy with hazelnuts) and water to rinse the mouth. It can also be prepared as Sakiz scent, which in Greece is known as Mastica and is a delicious with many uses. In Fazil Bey there are specialists in Turkish coffee but also in the same small street there are several stalls of Turkish coffee with the same quality.
