Fattoria San Donato

A Fattoria is a farm, but this one is extra-special because, besides being located in the very beautiful region of Tuscany, Italy, it is a vineyard whose wines bear a great tradition of high quality. Besides the excellent wine, the San Donato Fattoria also produces a typical Italian liqueur called "grappa". They also grow a special flower from which they extract saffron for cooking gourmet dishes, and also produce an equally exquisite olive oil. When visiting the Fattoria you sample, and buy, some of their products. If you are lucky enough, you can dine on the exquisite dishes cooked by the owners.
