Little PHeasant Castle, with gardens surrounding it
Everyone who comes to Moritzburg comes to see the castle, in the middle of a lake, but only some come to stroll around its gardens. We walk up to the 2nd palace, less spectacular but interesting. I think the translation of its name is "Little Pheasant Castle". It was completed around the year 1776, serving as a summer residence of Prince Frederick Augustus III of Saxony. It is less than half a minute walking from the main castle, surrounded by gardens, and not far away is another lake with an original lighthouse, also pink2
