It is a great hotel if you are in Istanbul for a few days, as it is within walking distance of all of the major attractions: The Cistern, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Topkapi. You can get to the attraction by taking a leisurely walk and going to the Golden Horn area is a pleasant walk. Our room was quite comfy and it was a good size with a modern bathroom with a shower and it even had a small balcony with a table and chairs which overlooked the city and a bit of the sea. The Hotel staff were very friendly. There was free wifi in the room and throughout the hotel, although there was a small connection charge.
However, in Istanbul was an open wifi network throughout the city, allowing you to connect to it with your iPod or netbook. The hotel has a restaurant with a small terrace but it is not anything special on a gastronomic level. But if you go down the street that is just behind the "Lighthouses" there are plenty of typical restaurants that are good and are well priced. In summary, this hotel is highly recommended because of location and the proximity to attractions, restaurants and services and it is reasonably priced.
