For the Amish community time has stood still since the seventeenth century. This museum is a good place to learn about their customs and their way of life, both at home and in their daily work on their farms. The farm is run by some old ladies who show you simple furniture and equipment commonly found in Amish houses. It is striking to find clothing laid out in the bedrooms belonging to the spouses and to the children. The 'appliance' usually found in the Amish homes are curious.
