Fair of Puerto de Santa Maria

The fair of Puerto de Santa María is also called the Spring Fair and Fine Wine Festival. It is a typical Andalusian fair. As its name implies, it is held every spring and after Easter. It is usually held just after the Feria de Abril (April Fair in Seville), which is what opens Andalusian fairs and depending on years can begin on the last Wednesday of April or even in May. This year it took place between the 13th to the 17th May. It lasts for approximately five days (Thursday to Monday), but on Wednesday night (when these photos were taken) it celebrates the "lighting", which is when all the bulbs are lit up.
