Ceramic panels and old traditions
This facade of the current municipal market "Els Filtres" gets its name from its location next to the ancient filters that used to purify water from the river Turia. In the front we see an extraordinary display of eighteenth century style ceramic panels made by the artisan's workshop José Gimeno Martínez, and reproductions of the traditions and customs of eighteenth century Valencian markets.
