Exmoor National Park

Exmoor National Park is a protected nature reserve, on the coast of Bristol, southwest England. To get there from London, the nearest towns are Taunton and Bristol, three-hour drive or so. Moor, is the specific landscape of acid soils, low and green vegetation with hills and cliffs above the sea. There are several information centers at the entrances of the park, eg in the village of Dunster. There are some people in the park, eg in Lynton and Lynmouth, Porlock and Dulverton. The coast is beautiful, but do not come to bathe! The overall temperature is not so cold but it doesn't rise much in summer.

Exmoor is great for all ages.

Excellent

The sprawling scenery makes for amazing photography and the wild horses make for an exciting adventure. When going on a quest to find the ponies please remember on finding them not to get too close as even though they’re adorable they are still wild animals! Exmoor is also great for kite flying and picnicking, to the point that people’s favourite picnic spots become well guarded secrets but Robbers Bridge in the Launa Doone Valley is probably mine. Go explore Exmoor yourselves, it’s definitely worth the trip.
