A good option
The Eureka in Cusco (Peru) is a good option for those looking to stay in this city. It has good rooms with free wi-fi, everything is very clean, and they offer enough refreshments in the morning to keep you going during your day of sightseeing. Depending on the room, you can also have a beautiful view, and there's great decoration everywhere. The staff are very friendly, too, and will do their best to help you during your stay (I speak from experience ... there was a water shortage when I stayed in 2012, and the staff were great). Looking at the map, the Plaza de Armas seems quite far away, and walking at an altitude of 3400m can be a little daunting if you're not used to it, but remember that taxis here are very cheap.
