Amazing and unique experience

Etosha National Park ("Great White Place" in the local language) is about five hours from Windhoek, capital of Namibia, and a true sanctuary where you can find amazing sunsets, star-filled skies, and the true stars of the park: the animals. You can see elephants, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, kudus, gazelles, and impalas drinking at the watering holes near the three main campsites, and you can pull the Jeep up to the edge and (as long as you're quiet) you can get an up-close view of the animals. With some luck and a little patience, you might even be able to see a leopard at sundown. The three main campsites (Okakuejo, Halali, and Namutoni) have individual watering holes and are built up so you can enjoy some comforts along with your nature.

I have been here with my family and I must say that this trip has been amazing.

Excellent

This is such a unique place and I would really like to go back here one day. Especially if I could see Etosha pan again because that was simply breathtaking! For as far as you could see there was nothing, truly astonishing. Wildlife here is also really beautiful.

I mean how could it not be in this magnificent environment? Also if you’re into photography you definitely need to visit Etosha and Namibia in general. This country makes you appreciate nature and I felt somewhat different when I came back from my trip. Looking back at the photos I took makes me homesick.

So please,

Rock art in Etosha

I went to Etosha National Park with some friends and we explored some of the rock art areas. There are the ones specially set up for tourists, but then you can find lots of other ones if you explore a bit on your own. Of course, all the locals know where paintings are but half the fun is exploring an discovering it for yourself. Oh, and don't miss the sunset in Namibia. It's spectacular!

Incredible journey

This is a perfect place to lose yourself in pure nature. It's just you, a 4-wheel-drive vehicle, and the wild African bush...it's everything you need for a unique and unforgettable experience. Seeing the wildlife at Etosha National Park is really an incredible journey worth taking.

Get in touch with wildlife

Being there for 3 days is too short. You need to plan for more time. Next time, I'll defiantly stay longer!
