Ethnographic Museum of Vila Real

On one side of the Church of San Pedro, in the Plaza of the same name, is Vila Real Regional Cultural Centre, which houses an Ethnographic Museum. The museum consists of several information panels, a recreation of rural environments and an exhibition of objects and articles of daily use and typical clothes, which show the ethnographic aspects of life in the Tras-Os-Montes region, of which Vila Real is the capital. Hours are Tuesday-Friday 10-12.30 and 14-18, Saturday and Sunday 14.30-18.
