Coronet Peak

Coronet Peak or Peak Concrete (as the locals call it), is the lowest ski area near Queenstown, also known as the capital of extreme sports and adventure. The ski area is small but contemporary and elegant and accessible by car or bus from Queenstown (it only takes about 20 minutes). However, the mountain is pretty "basic" and I would say that it falls short for expert skiers, but that´s definitely not my case: short tracks and confusing signage, but the worst by far was how busy the area was and the fact that there was a ton of ice on the slopes.
