Escultura Sempesserre

En la entrada al muncipio de Sempesserre nos encontramos con una belleza de monumento de temática religiosa. Consiste en una escultura donde aparece cristo en la cruz y en la parte inferior tres vírgenes rezando y cuidando de él en señal de paz, amor y fraternidad. La escultura posee unos detalles asombrosos y aunque el paso del tiempo se percibe en algunas de las figuras, el estado general de conservación es perfecto lo que hace de este lugar un imprescindible en nuestra aventura por el sur de Francia.

At the entrance to muncipio of Sempesserre we find a beautiful monument of religious themes. Consists of a sculpture where Christ appears on the cross and in the bottom three virgin praying and taking care of him in peace, love and brotherhood. The sculpture has some amazing details and although the passage of time is perceived in some of the figures, the overall condition is perfect what makes this place a must on our adventure through southern France.
