Escorpiao

Escorpiao is a Portuguese pub in the village of Savigny sur Orge. On the outskirts of Paris there's a large Portuguese community that settled in France in the 50's and 60's, but whose children still have a great love for Portuguese music and culture. Admission is free, but you have to leave your stuff at reception and they do charge you for it. The drinks are quite expensive, there are Portuguese wines and beers from 5 euros per bottle. On Friday and Saturday they play all the best Portuguese, Spanish and Brazilian music. It gets very crowded starting around 10 p.m., and it closes around 2 a.m., it's not a disco.
