El Ayuntamiento de esta ciudad construyó esta escalinata en el año 1921 para comunicar la estación del ferrocarril con el centro de la ciudad y salvar así el gran desnivel existente entre ambos lugares.
Es una interesante representación del antiguo arte mudéjar que abunda en Teruel.
The town council built this stairway in 1921 to communicate the railway station with the city center and save the big drop between both places. It is an interesting representation of the ancient Moorish art that abounds in Teruel.
