Enchanting place

In Mahón, I discovered a small paradise of peace and colors. Right on the edge of S'Albufera, this marvelous place led me to fall in love with the island.

It’s worth a visit to see the empty streets and that silence that just lets you be alone with your thoughts.

Ideal for going with children

Es Grau Beach is named after a small town in the Menorcan Albufera. It’s an ideal place to go with children since the water is very shallow and currents and waves are basically nonexistent.

The water is crystal-clear and there’s some plants in the water, but nothing disagreeable. There are also lots of little fish that circle around you feet.

I’d suggest going in the afternoon, having a swim while the sun goes down, and having a dinner or some pizza in one of the beach bars. Basically, with a surrounding like that of Es Grau, everything is a pleasure.

Sunset in winter

Menorca in winter season is special. We will never see sunsets in summer, or green fields, renovated beaches and crystalline waters. There is a very good temperature for any sport in nature. I recommend it!

Phenomenal

This is an unbeatable beach to go with small children as it’s very safe. The water is shallow and at a very agreeable temperature to spend a long time swimming.
