Érice Tower

La Torre de Érice protagoniza, junto a la iglesia Matrice, yo diría que el rincón más bonito de Érice, un pueblo medieval que se alza sobre Trápani en el monte San Giulano. La torre es del año 1312, fue construida por Federico II de Aragón y tiene unos 28 metros de altura, con una escalera de 108 peldaños (no los conté, je, je, es un dato del folleto que me dieron con la entrada). Se puede subir hasta su punto más alto, donde viven las almenas y las campanas (ojo, no está permitido tocarlas). Desde allí se obtienen las mejores vistas del pueblo, calles y tejados medievales, la costa con Trápani y sus salinas, y las islas Égadi... poco más se puede decir, salvo que es un lugar realmente bello :), aunque es cierto que hoy en día se ha plantado todo un "jardín" de enormes antenas junto a la estación del teleférico que invade buena parte de estas vistas.

The Tower of Erice stars with the Matrice church, I would say the most beautiful corner of Erice, a medieval village perched on Trápani on Mount San Giuliano. The tower is the year 1312, it was built by Frederick II of Aragon and is about 28 meters high, with a staircase of 108 steps (I did not count them, heh, heh, is a thing of the brochure that gave me the entrance). You can climb to its highest point, where the battlements and bells live (eye, is not allowed to touch them). From there the best views of the village, medieval streets and rooftops, the coast and its salt Trapani and Egadi ... little else can say except that it is a really beautiful place :) are obtained, although it is true that today planted a whole "garden" of huge antennas next to the cable car station that pervades much of these views.

La consiglio sinceramente di visitare al tramonto perché è molto più romantico con le lumirarie gialle. Il tramonto e la vista sulle egadi magnifico. Ogni foto vi sembrarà una cartolina. Vi consiglio di portarvi una giacca o una felpa perché fa freddo di sera

I sincerely recommend to visit at sunset because it is much more romantic with the yellow lumires. The sunset and the view on the magnificent egadi. Each photo will seem like a postcard. I suggest you bring a jacket or a sweatshirt because it"s cold in the evening

Beautiful medieval style village on the hill just outside Trapani. Recommended at sunset to enjoy the beautiful view of the city and the sea. Approved in August 2017.
