Epopéia Imigrante

O distrito de Ana Rech fica por volta de uns quinze minutos do centro da cidade de Caxias do Sul na serra gaúcha. É bastante conhecido por ter uma das mais belas celebrações do natal aqui da região e por ser mais um símbolo do conjunto de localidades onde a imigração italiana começou a mais de cento e quarenta anos atrás. E é lá que no meio de diversos pontos turísticos fui registrar mais um. Dessa vez eu fui conhecer a Epopeia Imigrante. Trata-se de uma rua coberta que fica entre a igreja matriz de Ana Rech e a Faculdade de Medicina Veterinária Murialdo. Essa rua é toda asfaltada e retrata em inúmeros painéis na parede do lado esquerdo a saga das famílias de imigrantes italianos que vieram para essas terras e nela construíram suas casas, cultivaram o solo com os parreirais, aumentaram sua fé construindo muitas igrejas e desenvolveram outros produtos artesanais como móveis, instrumentos de música e alimentos para vender e sobreviver. Cada um desses itens acima são retratados nesses painéis e cada um com um título sobre o tema abordado e talhado na madeira as expressões e afazeres deste povo. Sem dúvida dá para aprender muito e também posar para fotografia em um outro painel no chão onde fica um espaço para duas pessoas representarem os italianos.
