The Emil A. Blackmore Museum of the American Legion is located on the fourth floor of the National Headquarters in Indianapolis. It is between the library and the National Executive Committee room. The museum occupies two rooms. The first is a display of military and related Legion elements and the other is a collection of fine art. The museum is named after Emil A. Blackmore, who served as national deputy Legion from July 1, 1956, until his death on April 21, 1967.
