El Veranda Restaurant

The Veranda is one of those places you'll be surprised to stop at along your journey. It's right in the center of Ulan Bator, near the Choijin temple and overlooking a terrace that's almost always full in summer, from which there are excellent views of the city that seem to put you in Beirut for the picturesque buildings that seem never finished in any case being subjected to a bombardment. The food is amazing and the wine list goes on for miles. The service is young and friendly and people there speak English, although not always very well. Being a tourist hot spot in the city, which has higher than average prices, this restaurant isn't going to be cheap and are paid as if you were in Europe.
