El Sanjuanino

The San Juan is a great place to eat, specialising in empanadas, tamales, and other Argentinian delicacies. We especially recommend the fried empanadas, and the spicy beef flank steak cooked over charcoal. It's not a very big restaurant, but the rustic dark wood walls make for a great environment. Service is great, and they offer delivery. It's a good choice if you want to have some empanadas when you go for a walk in the Recoleta, as it's located in Calle Posadas between Callao and Ayacucho. To give you an idea of its location, you'll have to walk about four blocks from the Church of Pilar. Price: $ 50.
