El Roser II Restaurant

El Roser 2 is one of the best and longest established restaurants in L’Escala…but it is nowhere near the Church, as stated by the previous reviewer. El Roser 1, or just “el Roser” is a hotel with an excellent restaurant, and is located near the Church and does serve basic Catalan food, cooked beautifully.Now on to the proper Roser 2! Owned by the same family (the Sabadi’s), the chef is Jordi Sabadi, he is a brilliant chef who has been consistently amazing over the 23 years we have been visiting L’Escala. This is Catalan food at its finest, with the added bonus of beautiful views over the sea. If you want to treat yourself, visit!

One of the best restaurants in L'Escala. It's located in the center of town, near the church. The rice, fish and seafood dishes are all great. Good quality and good cooking. Simple and typical Catalan dishes. Everything is delicious. Highly recommended.
