Located on one of the city's most central pedestrian streets, behind the Plaza de La Laguna, the Bar The Pupa is one of my favourite places to have tapas in Ayamonte. It's one of the best places to eat typical local tapas. Fried fish, Gazpacho, Huelva prawns, tuna and onions, seasoned eggs, choco balls or Iberian pork are some of their specialties. You can order tapas, half rations or full rations, which allows you to try a larger variety of dishes (I recommend you order a half ration since the portions are very large). Also, the prices are affordable (an average of 8€ ration, 4.50 for a half).

Buena Comida.

Situado en el centro peatonal de Ayamonte, la comida es muy buena y nos permite probar lo típico de la zona a buen precio. Ojo, raciones generosas; mejor pedir medias. Hay que dejarse aconsejar y no nos equivocaremos tanto en producto, como en cantidad. Nosotros fuimos en verano, nos sentamos en una terraza que hay justo en la callecita que sale delante y estuvimos muy a gusto.

Located in the pedestrian center of Ayamonte, the food is very good and allows us to prove typical of the area at great rates. Eye, generous portions, better order half. We must seek advice and did not err in both product and quantity. We went in the summer, we sat on a terrace there right in the alley that goes ahead and were very comfortable.

Muy buenas tapas, consistentes, ricas, baratas. Por poner un ejemplo, 1/2 de queso, 1/2 de puntillas, 1/2 de carne ibérica, tapa de tortillón, montado de huevos de codorniz con jamón, 2 refrescos, 2 vinos blancos y 2 macetas de cerveza, 35€.

Very good tapas, consistent, rich, cheap. For example, 1/2 of cheese, 1/2 tip, 1/2 of Iberian beef, torrtillon top, quail eggs with ham, 2 soft drinks, 2 white wines and 2 pots of beer, 35 €. Awesome!!!
