The market Wazemmes

This market takes place on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings. It is part of one of the most important markets in the region of northern France. It is located on the square "Nouvelle Aventure", close to the station Gambetta line 1 subway of Lille. The appeal of the market is due to the colored booths and unique atmosphere which cannot be found in any other part of the city. The market is divided into two distinct parts. The first, which is outside, features food from all parts of the world(European, Asian, African etc.) The other part features plenty of products such as flowers, clothing, footwear, hardware and all types of antiques.
