El Faro Restaurant
Cudillero is a small fishing village. What caught our attention was that the houses seem to be placed on top of each other, almost crushing one another! We also liked its narrow and steep streets. It seems that around every corner there is something new to discover. But I particularly loved "El Faro" restaurant. We ordered a seafood platter and a typical assortment of cheeses. The service was very good and the food was tasty. It is a pleasure to eat seafood that you know has been caught that day. At one point, a fisherman who was friendly with the owner, chatted to us for a while. This would be unthinkable in a seafood restaurant in any other town or city.
