This house ,founded in 1954, won first place in the 2008 Gastronomic Competition in the Old Quarter of Marbella. It is in a place that honors the name given to the bar, San Lazaro street is really narrow. It is a casual place, with excellent staff and with lots of character. There's a vast menu of Andalusian food and its specialty is tapas that ranging from wide variety of salads, to anchovies, sardines, marinaded fish, squid, shredded beef, ham etc. For drinks there is: coffee, tea, flavored waters, juices and non-alcoholic beers, glasses of wine, chamomile or Muscat, aperitifs, anise, brandy, liqueurs and mixers.
As usual and as we did every day, we had an ice cold beer, (as I have told other of my places, I've never drank so much beer in my life), ate some olives and hit the road for return, after my friend had greeted the owner he has known for years.
