El Cuartel by City Lights

Cuartel by City Lights is an amazing multi-disciplinary space which takes place in the vast interior courtyards of the Conde Duque Cultural Center (it was once a military barracks so you can get an idea of the massive parade-sized interior plazas). Cuartel by City Light's main claim to fame is that of an al-fresco summer cinema during the months of July, August, and September. In the evenings, massive screens are erected and chairs are set out so that the public can enjoy a mix of recent blockbusters and timeless classics under the clear Madrid sky.
