El Castillo-Ejido Beach

The Ejido Castle Beach is before crossing the River Fuengirola, near the Castle of Sohail, and is part of the great Fuengirola Beach. The beach isn't wide, and, like most beaches on the Costa del Sol, there aren't any steep slopes or cliffs. Although there is a large Hotel-Spa next door, the beach never feels full of people because of its large size. The sand is fine and the sea inlet is shallow sea. Since it's an open beach, sunbathing can be annoying on windy days. Being attached to the mouth of the Rio Fuengirola, it's also a good place for fishing in winter.
