This is a place of natural interest belonging to the municipality of Palamos. We toured part of this area by bike and enjoyed the natural surroundings of meadows and forests on the way to the beach. Once at the beach, we left the bikes and walked along the walkways to savor the Costa Brava at its most tranquil. There are some old buildings remaining that remind us of the true spirit of the area.
Pretty Crecana beach of Palamos is accessed by a small road, parking has mandatory payment (except if you arrive in the afternoon you no longer have to pay). The beach has a hill where there was an Iberian settlement - declared of cultural interest. The beach is pristine with just a couple of houses.
Castell Cove is next to Castell beach, separated by the Iberian. The setting is stunning, it is a pure piece of Costa Brava (as the coast was before development). Palamos won a referendum last year to not build this wonderful coast. You can hike along the coast and discover unique places.
Fantastic beach on the Costa Brava, very primitive, no buildings, only little chiringuito on the beach.
